Compax Wheel System
Changing the way you manage containerised waste
The simple, efficient way to reduce your transport costs
Macpactor’s Compax™ wheel system helps you reduce transport costs by as much as 75% on containerised civic amenity and trade waste. Available in various sizes, the quick hitch compatible Compax™ system can be fitted to any fully mobile 360° excavator or backhoe, allowing the operator to cover all areas of the container.
Features
Available in two different sizes. The quick hitch compatible Compax™ System fitted to a fully mobile ‘rubber duck’ 360 ̊ wheeled excavator allows the operator to compact all areas of the container.
Having dealt with the materials in one container the Compax™ equipped excavator quickly moves on to the next.
Because the Compax™ system ‘free rotates’ there is no need for drive unit maintenance. The unique operator controlled locking system enables ‘loading side’ waste build-up to be levelled by using the compaction teeth as a rake, thus preventing space wasting ‘soft spots’.
The versatility of ‘quick coupling’ enables a single machine to compact, grab, sort, load and tidy. Mobility and flexibility means your machine need not be confined to transfer station duties, offering breakdown coverage for other areas of your waste handling business.
Benefits
- Maximise container payload and reduce transport costs by 75%
- Eliminate container damage
- Fits all makes of 360 ̊excavator
- Simple robust design
- Low maintenance
- Quick hitch compatible
Case Studies
“The containers are now being filled to capacity and therefore producing more income, as on our contract, transport is paid for by the weight in the container. This was at times a cost to us, it has now ensured that every time we move a container to disposal or a recycle bulking point it is done at a profit.
The compaction unit has increased the capacity on the containers and we now get up to 3 times the amount of material in the containers than we did previously. This has resulted in the amount of transport required to service the sites which has lead to a reduction of between 30% to 40% in the fuel required to operate the service, which in the current climate with he high cost of fuel is of great financial benefit, I will be reducing my Hook lift fleet from 3 to 2 vehicles as a result of purchasing this compaction unit, which will again bring financial benefits to my operation.”
